Found advert in New Canaan CT yellow pages with local phone number. Called Sat 11AM (4/5/14) after another company failed to show up for Sat morn appointment, scheduled several days earlier. Pleasantly surprised Precision could come same day. This was important since we would be unavailable for another 2 weeks. Certified techs/uniforms and insurance are critical. Phone service rep was well spoken and knowledgeable. Tech quick to identify prob and advise us - spent 2 hours Sat afternoon (4-6PM) to do a large job which turned out to be not only repair of stripped gears, ball bearings etc., but replacement of older springs that were not appropriate for the door. Tech phoned twice to say when he would arrive. Also the e-mail confirmation for the appointment with information about the technicians was an unexpected level of customer service and professionalism that is rare today. The whole experience with Precision was outstanding.

Good Afternoon, I needed assistance in determining the condition of my garage door and all the noise and jams occurring. I decided to go to the Stamford Yellow Pages and found your advertisement. The first thing that caught my eye was your location. You listed a Stamford location. I kept looking at your ad and noticed other features for appointments. I called and the appt. was made so fast, the next morning. That seemed amazing to me. Travis called to notify me he was on the way. Right on time. We discussed the problem and decided it was about time the garage door be replaced. He took specs of the existing garage door. I looked through the book and found our original garage door was shown. This time in steel instead of wood. We picked an insulation and the style windows and color (white). He quoted me a price. I accepted. He called in the order. Hopefully I will receive the new garage door in 2-3 wks. Travis knows his stuff. He was polite, helpful, and very attentive to my needs. He assisted me with what I was looking for.

We found Precision I'm the local phone book this morning. We were told the service man would be here between 1-5 today. He arrived at 4:45. Travis looked at the garage door and diagnosed what the problem was. Travis made suggestions which we agreed to and did the repairs. He finished the repair quickly. He was very pleasant and personable. He as truly an asset to your company. On a scale from 1-5 I give Precision Door and Travis 5 stars.
