Landed up with a broken garage door on a cold morning. The only service I managed to reach who were able to help was Precision. The person who answered the phone was quick and was able to get someone to take care of us quickly. Their technicians Leo and Ricardo arrived on time, quickly figured out what was wrong, gave me a quote and on approval, fixed the door. Prompt, courteous and a job well done.

We called Precision when our garage door opener quit unexpectedly on a Saturday afternoon. It happened to be one of the coldest weekends we've had so far this winter. I was excited to learn that their technicians work on Sundays at no additional charge. Brian came the next day, after calling to let me know he would be running late, and again to tell me he was on his way. He arrived when he said he would, was extremely polite, and gave us his opinion regarding repairing versus replacing our 13 year old unit. We opted to replace and Brian set to work in our freezing garage for 1 1/2 hours to get us working again. We were 100% satisfied with our experience and will definitely call Precision to replace our other door (when it is warmer weather, of course!). Travis and Paul showed up precisely on time, they quickly diagnosed a series of issues with the garage door and I was amazed when they said they had all the parts they needed to fix a rather old, antiquated opener on the service vehicle. While I had a nice warm cup of coffee, they recabled one track, replaced a broken pulley, replaced and rewired a remote opener and made all the adjustments needed to get it all running perfectly. Precision is now my go-to company for garage door issues. A perfect service experience.

The technician arrived within one hour of me making the appointment! The service was excellent and efficient. If I have one small gripe, it would be that it's clear you use a telephone answering service used, which wasn't very knowledgable. Once I was put through to your company the operator was also not very familiar with the Angie's list promotion and I had to explain it a few times. That said, to have the service booked and completed on the same day is pretty amazing.

Fastest service response time in the history of service calls! I placed a call to Precision and within 5 minutes I had received confirmation of my appointment AND a call from technician Darren O. Darren was at my house within 10 minutes of my initial call to Precision. Darren took care of the issue with my garage door within moments and inspected my garage door. I still cannot believe how fast this was taken care of. I will definitely use Precision again in the future. I will also tell everyone I know how great my experience with Precision was!!!

I usually do not write these comments for every service I receive, but I believe firm has earned it's five stars! I have used this company three times. Ones to install an old garage door I got from a friend. That door lasted 15 years. They ones fixed a few rollers and stuff. This time the whole thing needed to be replaced with new. Your prompt and attentive service is flawless! Production time of a few weeks is acceptable and the cost was very competitive. Your installation crew (Greg & Paul) did a great job, fast and efficient. The door looks and works great! Only thing I would correct with this firm is it's name. It should be called Five Star Overhead Precision Door Service, because they have earned the name…I recommend them with no reservations..

The service was perfect. Brian arrived in time. Investigated the problem carefully, tried to repair first, rather than rushing to replace with new parts. In the end, the broken safety sensors were replaced to solve the problem. He also cleaned up very well. The spray on the bearings is a nice free addon. Most importantly, it's on Sunday. It's great to have service on weekends without paying extra! Very satisfied.

I have a lift master garage door opener that started malfunctioning. Precision was able to come out the next day to repair. My technician Leo quickly assessed the problem, laid out my repair options, and even followed up with the company on a cost estimate discrepancy that he was able to get resolved. Satisfied customer!

I was very much satisfied with Brian's service Dec. 26, , for the garage door assembly on my 47 Maltbie Ave. Stamford house. Brian called me a few minutes before arriving, and then arrived on time. He next carefully and thoroughly explained to me the operation of the garage door and how he intended to proceed with its repair (with broken cable and spring on the floor). Although he first thought he would finish in about half an hour, the job took him nearly two hours, as he worked carefully, and thoroughly, since it's an old 1950's door, with some parts today unavailable. He succeeded in restoring its operation, and in the future, based on the brochure he explained and gave to me, I'll be ordering two new doors for the garage. Brian certainly rates five stars! A solid FIVE from the person answering the phone to the technician providing the service. I called and was able to get an appointment the very next day. The technician arrived on time and clearly explained what was involved in the service. He then did some quick trouble shooting on one of my doors not closing properly before performing maintenance. When he was finished, my garage doors were running quieter and smoother and my garage door opener was working. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Precision Door was great. They came the same day I called them to fix the door that had come off track due to a car backing into the door. They got the door back on track and fixed the track so the door opened smoothly.
