Since the owner was too lazy to put his email into his thank you letter, I do not think he was interested in my opinion. The workers were very nice BUT they left a mess in my garage when a broom was right in front of them and at least 6 nails on the garage floor where I could have run over them and gotten a flat tire. Thanks a lot guys. Liz from Stamford

although PGD is fast and courteous I am always very surprised at the quotes I am given for new equipment and the amounts I am charged for service. For instance, a service person quoted $700.00 for a new motor for one opener..on the web the replacement motor for my unit costs @ 72.00 USD. Not sure why any motor would cost $700.00. In the end PGD is a professional operation but one I will no longer use them due to the very high prices they charge.

Mr Peterman, Thank you so much for your business. We appreciate the kind words about the fast and courteous service. Hopefully you are satisfied with the opener we installed too. It sounds like your displeasure is related to price. If you have a change of heart regarding the opener I will be happy to replace it with a different one. Our garage door openers range in price from 399 to 949 dollars installed. Obviously they range in price because they range in features. Openers that have battery backup, motion sensing wall control panels, timer to close etc will cost more. With that being said I still want you to be happy with your purchase. Call me direct and we can discuss this further. Doug Bencsko Owner

Good afternoon, I am writing this letter on Monday, December 2nd while your people are installing the new garage door. According to Julio Arellano, you have the following problem: The garage door consists of 4 panels, which according to your Proposal Specification and Service Estimate were supposed to be flat almond or the same as all other doors in our Condominium Complex. Instead, all panels came of different design, which not only does not correspond to your Specification, not only look ugly, but differ from other doors in the Condominium complex and prohibited by Condominium Association. Julio told me that that Precision Door must replace two panels to match the other doors in the complex and to meet your Proposal Specification. He estimated the remaining job to take half an hour. I made a call to your office today, talked to Sarah, and we all agreed that I would make my final payment in the amount of $1,200 only after Precision Doors replace two panels and the job is fully completed. Thank you, Alexander Donder.
